Yesterday was Thursday. I've been meaning to get back into my "Thankful Thursday" mode. I know it's a day late, but it doesn't have to be Thursday in order for me to be thankful! I'm thankful every day. :o)

I am thankful every morning when I wake up to another glorious day. I am grateful for my wife and son who tolerate my bizarre sense of humour and my maxi-decibel guitar playing. I am grateful to be able to be doing a job that I love with great employees and associates. I am grateful for sunshine and rain and everything in nature. I could do without bugs, though.
It is always good to give thanks. I remember Corrie Ten Boom's book, The Hiding Place, in which she and her sister were in a concentration camp giving thanks even for the bugs. Then, when certain people were called out for hard labor (or something horrible, I can't remember exactly) they couldn't go. Sometimes we have to give thanks when we don't feel thankful, because we don't know what's being worked for our own good.
